I saw the cover of this and who the writer was and did a double take. What are you reading today? Of course, those forces of darkness also swear eternal vengeance against the sons of Cain. I love me some Wu, but this was a hack job. The character he has created in Peerless Poe is awesome. This unholy threat wears a woman's face and wields dark energies capable of destroying normal men. The panels are large and the action plays huge. Man's only hope lies in Peerless Poe, a hard-luck private eye with a taste for booze and a magnetic attraction to danger. See, Peerless is one of the sons of Cain, the original murderer in the Old Testament.

Only the temptations of the irresistible daughter of the Grand Arch Occisor d'Arc, head honcho to the Order, could have caused Peerless to stray from his loyalty to the organization. The book is set to release July 23. But Poe hasn't been normal in years. If you have a hunger for graphic novels ,are looking for something different than the norm, and are willing not to judge a book by its cover, then give this one a go. Is this The Method Man? The images were fine and the art work was easy to follow but the text was blurry and small and very hard to read. But I'm sticking with my three and could easily bump it up if more were to follow. In fact, this slim volume is so dense that the main character's background and the details of the premise itself are telegraphed through a text piece at the beginning of the book. I read another awesome comic while I waited Bingo Love, if you're interested and hoped I wouldn't be disappointed when Method Man finally arrived. He lays out crowded panels showing streets scenes with apparently the same ease he has at delineating the action sequences that focus primarily on the characters. Atchison recently co-wrote the Method Man Graphic Novel with hip-hop mainstay Method Man for Grand Central Publishing. The dialogue is cutting and quick, but has the instant ring of familiarity.

The Order saw to that. I have to say right here in the post I was so into it; I was chuckling out loud. But Poe hasn't been normal in years. Finally, it arrived, and I was kid-on-a-snow-day excited. The story plunges right to the meat of the matter in this struggle, and the backstory comes in a few pages that build the characters of Peerless and his mentor Grand Occisor John Albeit. Hip hop musician Method Man also reputedly has one of the largest comic book collections in existence. In addition, Atchison co-created True Believer for the Sci Fi channel with Tom Feister and Matt Spradlin. Save it for a day of whimsy near the pool or for a day at the beach. Or even if there were more issues so that I could follow Peerless Poe along his journey.

Peerless Poe, is a private investigator and former member of the secret Order of the Sacred Method, Poe is nervous about forging an alliance with a group of people who have exploited in the past. However, one aspect did throw a wrench in things, which was the half-censored language throughout. Actually if they had just scanned it the resolution would probably have been better!. Long-time readers have seen this played out before, but it always works.
His throwdown is no jive smack. Kudos must go to scripter David Atchison and especially artist Sanford Greene for playing the material as straight as it deserves a tone that's pretty clear by the time Method Man opines on the virtues of control while fighting a mirror-image of himself. At times he uses language that some may find offensive , but it seems to fit the situation and is not just put there for shock value. The guys in our Family did. I am going to see what else they have in their stable.
